Frequently asked questions

Have your stones been shaped by nature?
Yes. The Andes stones en Peru hot stones have been rounded off by nature, and therefore have not been shaped by a machine.

What happens after I have completed the online order procedure?
We will create a quote en send it you via email. This way we can always make sure that the correct shipping charges are being used. You can then verify your order and send us your confirmation and complete the payment. As soon as we have received your payment the parcel will be shipped out.

Are prices including VAT?
Yes, all prices on the website are including VAT, unless otherwise stated.

The hot stones are grey and not black?
The natural color of our basalt stones is grey. The stones have only been washed and not been oiled. After you apply a layer of oil the stones will become shiny black.

Up to what temperature do the stones have to be heated?
The hot stones are being heated up to around 45°C-50°C. Some people can take quite some heat, whilst others can't. Always keep in mind that if the client finds the stones too warm, then they are too warm, even if the temperature feels fine to you.

Can you give me some info on how to clean stones and heater?
Of course we can. With every delivery of stones, heater or combination kit we enclose a little brochure with all the info you need.

Can I come and pick up my order, rather then having it sent out to me?
Yes you can! Please send us an email of give us a call to make an appointment.

My heater isn't working properly. Am I doing something wrong?
With the Sunnex Savoi, Pollina, ECO small and ECO large heaters you have to put water in the device itself up to the waterline, and also water in the removable pan with the stones. These are bain-marie heaters.
